Made from European wool felt, the Hard Felt beater is left untreated and natural for a nice, punchy hit, with low attack.  This type of felt has been a standard in the industry for decades.  
 
We wanted to offer this classic style felt beater for more traditional drummers.  Our Hard Felt beater is a standard weight, around 3 ounces.
 
This product works great with our Leather Kick Shield and our Beater Weights.
