Shaker Bass Drum Beater

Great for acoustic shows and smaller setups.
 
The design of the Shaker bass drum beater stemmed from the desire to create an extra sound that blended with all our other jingles and shakers.  Great for using on the “slave” of a double bass pedal to get some unique rhythms while adding spice for your groove.
 
The 3” plastic ball and the plastic media fill keep this beater lightweight.  the combination of the two plastics give you a hearty shaker sound.
 
Can also be used as a handheld shaker, maraca-style!
 
For obvious reasons, you don’t want to play this beater too hard.  While the plastic is durable, it will be damaged if played too hard.  This is more of an effects beater.
