Drum FX?? Cymbal Sizzler?? YUP!
 
The Magnetic Chain FX series will stick to anything made of steel; drum hoops, tension rods, any CP Metal FX and Stax, hi hat rod, cymbal tilter or steel wingnut.
 
Play the Magnetic Chain FX stretched tight across the top third of your drum or slide the magnets close together to have the chains loose. The chains are playable in both positions. 
Rake across the chains to get a guiro-type sound.  
Position the magnets on the inside or outside of your hoop to have the chains tight on the head or elevated so they dangle, or anywhere in between.  
Play the drum with or without snares on to get two different sounds.  Snare wires off = an alternative snare sound. Snare wires on = a fatter snare sound.
Put both magnets on your cymbal tilter and let the chains hang like a sizzler. 
 
CHAINS: This version comes with 3 chains for more depth of sound.  Twist the chains for a tighter, louder sound or play them untwisted to get more "growl".
IMPORTANT NOTE:  The size shown on the tag indicates which size drum it will fit, it does not indicate the actual length of the chains.
For instance, for a 12" drum, you'll need a 12" Magnetic Chain FX to fit snugly across your drum, etc.
 
DRAGON SCALES: This version comes with a single chain and 9 sets of scales.  You'll have more parts moving on a wider part of the drum with an added metalic sound as they clang together.  The scales are made from light-weight aluminum so they won't choke your drum.  Their light weight will allow them to vibrate more on your cymbal when used as a sizzler.
 
VINTAGE BRASS BELLS: This version comes with a single chain and 9 bells.  The bells will give you a jingly sound in addition to the metalic sound you'll get from them bouncing off each other.  They are slightly heavier-weight than the Dragon Scales but still light enough to not choke your drum.
 
Both the Dragon Scales and theVintage  Brass Bells have the option to remove one or both magnets.  They include lanyard clips so you can also adjust the length of the chain.  For instance, clip one magnet to the center of the chain to have the two ends dangle, giving the ends more freedom to move, especially when used on your hi-hat rod or cymbal.  Experiment to find a sound that suits your needs and change it up as necessary.
