FX Cross Bar Combo

Add multiple FX options to your hi-hat or cymbals with the FX Cross Bar Combo!
 
The FX Cross Bar is made to go between your hi-hat cymbal and your clutch felt or on top of your cymbal tilter.  This Combo comes with 1 FX Cross Bar, 1 Cluster Stax Sleigh Bells layer, and 1 Cluster Stax Traditional Bells layer as shown in the main photo.
 
Designed to fit up to two layers on each side, the FX Cross Bar works great with many of our products. The driving idea behind the FX Cross Bar is to be able to have different layers work with and off each other with every bounce of the hi-hat closure or cymbal strike.  Stacking multiple layers, each with different randomly moving parts, will create a blend of sounds that can’t be achieved with just a single layer.  The FX Cross Bar allows the products to hang enough to touch your cymbals so you will get a slightly different sound than you would if the product was resting directly on your cymbal. 
 
Use it under your hi-hat clutch
to get the sounds of the product(s) dropping down and hitting the cymbal while using the hi-hat
to keep products located out of your way, so it won’t interfere with your playing
with other products from our Hi-Hat FX Collection on the remaining exposed hi-hat rod
 
Use it on your cymbal tilter
to get a sizzle effect which will vary depending on which layers are used
to keep your sizzle effect products off to the sides of your cymbal so they won’t interfere with your playing
 
The FX Cross Bar can be used with many of our smaller modular items such as our Hex Hub, Hex Jingle, MFX Jingle Bell Ring, and Mini Jingle Strap.  You can even use it with layers from our Outlaw Collection.
 
We do not recommend putting any “striking” products on the FX Cross Bar, such as our Stax.   This is not a STRIKING product it is made for HOLDING the products in place.  Striking it may cause damage.
