The Soft Felt Bass Drum Beater

Made from European wool felt, the Soft Felt beater is left untreated and natural for a nice, punchy hit, with low attack.  This type of felt beater has been a standard in the industry for decades. 
 
We decided the typical “hamburger” style, where, in most cases, only the top edge of the beater gets used, was not the most efficient setup.  Our solution to turn it sideways gives you a more consistent striking surface and even wear, no matter the height of the beater or type of pedal. 
 
The Soft Felt beater is a great all-purpose beater, no matter what style of music you play.
