Drum Taco-Standard, Overtone Control

The Drum Taco was designed to control overtones with just the flip of your stick.
 
Available in 3 sizes; Street = 3 ounces of fill, Standard = 5 ounces of fill, and Grande = 8 ounces of fill.

The CP Drum Taco attaches to your drum with a super strong Rare Earth magnet*, rated for 26 lbs of straight pulling force.  The included “figure 8” fastener attaches between your tension rod and your hoop, like a washer, and acts as the magnet’s base.  The “figure 8” is small enough that it shouldn’t interfere with your drum case.  The use of the “figure 8” allows you to use the Drum Taco whether you have steel or non-steel hoops.  
 
The strong magnet gives you the security of knowing your Drum Taco will stay where you put it, unlike using your wallet which can bounce off at the most inconvenient times.  Don’t need overtone control for the next song? Simply flip the Drum Taco off the drumhead with your stick and flip it back on when you need it again.  Want a little less overtone control? Position the Drum Taco so it’s half on, half off the head.
 
CP Drum Tacos were designed to be used on your snare drum.  If you use it on a Tom, you may hear the media rattle, depending on your tuning and how far away from the edge the Taco is placed.  Please be aware, if recording, your mic may pick up the rattling sound.
 
*the magnet will also attach directly to steel hoops, but it will be a more secure attachment when using the "figure 8" as a base.

Thee Drum Taco is available in 2 colors, black with red lettering or red with white lettering.
